CNY Heroes, Episode 2 – Syracuse Veterans’ Writing Group

In this episode of CNY Heroes, Host Dan Cummings talks with two veterans on opposite ends of the age spectrum, who share a common interest in writing. Dave Vercelloni is an Air Force Veteran of Vietnam and the Cold War. Tony Ruscitto is a Bishop Grimes High School and Syracuse University graduate who enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2013. Both are members of the Syracuse Veterans’ Writing Group at SU. CNY Heroes is a new program that takes an in depth look at issues impacting our veterans, including the thousands of vets who call Central New York home. The Syracuse University Institute for Veterans and Military Families helps vets make the adjustment back to civilian life.
