Daniel Tiger Paint Party and Story Time at WCNY

WCNY, Central New York’s flagship public broadcaster and Painting with a Twist Syracuse-DeWitt present a Daniel Tiger Paint Party & Story Time Feb. 17 at WCNY in Syracuse.

Kick off the winter break with a family-friendly community event! Guests will first get the opportunity to preview PBS KIDS’ newest television show, “Pinkalicious & Peterrific.” This screening is free in WCNY’s Education Center in the Enterprise America City. The first 100 guests will receive a special gift. (12:30-1 p.m.)

Following the preview, paid guests will stay for the Daniel Tiger Paint Party & Story Time! School-aged children ages 5 to 9 will enjoy a special interactive reading of a Daniel Tiger story, while enjoying snacks, activities, face painting, prizes, and more. (1-2 p.m.)

Attendees then head into The Studios at WCNY for the Paint Party. Games, more prizes, and step-by-step instruction from the artists of Painting with a Twist will keep little ones engaged as they get the chance to paint their own Daniel Tiger masterpiece. (Paint Party is 2-3:30 p.m.)
