Innovate to Educate, Episode 9 – Canastota Schools Digital Badging Program

In 2020, Canastota Central Schools launched an innovative digital badging program, allowing students to drive their learning independently and develop skills in key areas, both in school and within the community. The badge is evidence that the student has mastered that competency. In this episode of Innovate to Educate, host Jody Manning speaks with Liz Garofalo, Canastota’s Coordinator of Innovative Learning, and with students Gloriana Stumpff and Harrison VanLone. The students are part of the badging program run in conjunction with the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
