Classic FM’s Memorial Day special hosted by Marie Lamb will feature “The Last Full Measure” by Buz Kohan and Larry Grossman, performed by U.S. Air Force musicians, William Grant Still’s “In Memoriam,” dedicated to African American troops who lost their lives fighting for the Union in the Civil War, “Pagine di Guerra” (Pages of War) by Italian composer and onetime Boston Pops music director Alfredo Casella, inspired by silent films of World War I, and more!

On April 27, WCNY captured Honor Flight veterans from the 20th Mission from Syracuse to D.C. as they arrived home at Syracuse Hancock International Airport.
