Maryna Bagovska considers it a true miracle that she and her family won the U.S. Green Card Lottery on the first try back in 2020, and were able to emigrate from their native Ukraine to Central New York in the middle of the pandemic. Her story is the subject of this latest edition of Our New Neighbors, hosted by Ibrahim Mohamed. Maryna also discusses the war in Ukraine, and how Americans can sponsor refugee families through the Uniting for Ukraine program.
