EVENT: WCNY’s Bob Ross 40th Anniversary Paint Bash

Join us as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of “The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross” with a fun filled day of painting, games, and all things Bob Ross. Through guided step-by-step instructions from the artists of “Sip of Color,” you’ll learn how to recreate one of Bob Ross’ iconic “happy little trees” paintings using his techniques!
Enjoy light hors d’Oeuvres, wine and beer samples, Bob Ross-themed trivia and giveaways, and so much more! In addition, an assortment of adult beverages will be available to purchase.
Ticket prices include professional instruction from “Sip of Color, a Syracuse Mobile Paint and Sip,” as well as art supplies, paints, brushes, and a 16×20 canvas.

“The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross” was an American half-hour instructional television show hosted by painter Bob Ross. The series began airing on January 11, 1983 and ended on May 17, 1994. In each episode, Bob Ross taught techniques for landscape oil painting, completing a painting in each session.
