Summer learning with Family Nights on WiCkNeY KIDS TV channel in June and July

WCNY, Central New York’s trusted, community-owned multimedia organization, presents a series of “Family Nights” on its 24/7 WiCkNeY KIDS channel, featuring PBS KIDS TV programming. Each special starts at 7 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in June, July, and August.

WordGirl: The Rise of Ms. Power

WordGirl realizes the true impact of her words when she is visited by the intergalactic Miss Power who teaches her a new way to fight crime that uses mean words to hurt others. WordGirl begins to discover the extreme lengths that Miss Power goes to when using this new crime-fighting technique, and comes up with her own method to fight it.

Dinosaur Train: What’s at the Center of the Earth?

The Pteranodon family goes on an exciting adventure in the new Drill Engine Train in search of the perfect spot for the new Underground Dinosaur Train Station! During their journey, they begin to wonder what’s at the center of the Earth. Luckily, a new friend comes along who teaches them all about the different layers of the Earth.
Nature Cat: Ocean Commotion

June 23-25

Nature Cat and friends learn how all the waterways are connected after Nature Cat accidentally drops Hal’s favorite chew toy, Mr. Chewinsky, down the storm drain. As they journey in search of Mr. Chewinsky, they encounter a new friend, Nature Dog, who helps them navigate the ocean.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Marathon

July 14-16

Join Daniel Tiger and friends as they learn life’s little lessons. In part one of this one-hour marathon, Daniel learns about the integrity of determination and hard work while trying to learn how to ride a bike. In the second segment, he learns about the importance of winding down after the day is done.

Wild Kratts: Creatures of the Deep Sea with Wild Alaska Live Simulcast
