WCNY director of news and public affairs to be honored by ‘City & State’ for journalism

Susan Arbetter, WCNY’s director of news and public affairs, co-host of “Insight” and host of “The Capitol Pressroom,” will be honored by “City & State” for journalism in the news magazine’s “Above and Beyond” awards.
The awards, which honor civic-minded women, was established to recognize women who have shown leadership in the areas of business, public service, journalism, nonprofits and labor advocacy.
Arbetter and 24 other honorees will attend a reception March 13 in New York City.
“City & State” is an award-winning news magazine dedicated to covering the politics, personalities and policy of New York State and New York City government.
