WCNY’s ‘Financial Fitness’ adds co-host David Mirabito

WCNY’s longest-running weekly program, “Financial Fitness,” will add a third co-host to the live show, adding another financial expert to the team that tackles viewer questions about money matters.

David Mirabito, a senior financial executive at MetLife Financial Group of Upstate New York, joins veteran co-hosts Jim Burns and Vicki Brackens as a host of the show. Mirabito’s first show as host is Thursday, Feb. 14, when he discusses the psychology of money.

Mirabito has served as a substitute host on “Financial Fitness” in 2012 and has regularly appeared as a panelist.

At MetLife, he specializes in meeting the needs of small-business owners, educators and employees of non-profit organizations, retirees, families and individuals. He offers confidential and comprehensive counseling on individual insurance, wealth accumulation and retirement planning needs. A graduate of Le Moyne College, he has earned numerous awards for helping his clients, and for ethical practice, lifelong education and volunteerism. He also is past president of the Estate Planning Council of Central New York.

Financial Fitness airs live at 8 p.m. Thursdays on WCNY (24.1), re-airs at 1 p.m. Fridays on WCNY (24.1) and at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fridays and Sundays on Time Warner Digital Cable channel 854.
