WCNY to air Frontline: ‘Top Secret America – 9/11 to the Boston Bombings’ at 2 p.m. May 3

WCNY, Central New York’s public media organization will air a special “Frontline” program that explores the journey from 9/11 to the Marathon bombings. The program, hosted by Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Dana Priest, provides insight on whether or not the hundreds of billions of dollars spent since Sept. 11 on counterterrorism have made Americans safer. Priest also explores the efforts to improve information sharing among federal agencies tasked with keeping Americans safe and investigates the secret history of the 12-year battle against terrorism. The program airs at 2 p.m. May 3 on WCNY (24.1).

WCNY, state’s public broadcasters present ‘Regents Review’ test-prep shows beginning this week

New York high school students preparing for the New York state Regents exams can take advantage of 10 test-preparation shows that begin airing this week on WCNY and all the state’s public broadcasting stations.
