Then they discuss the incredible public health scientific success regarding HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome, and its current prevalence, prevention, and treatment. In this context, they review PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) medications, both oral and injections, and PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) medication, which are available for anyone exposed, regardless of age or ability to pay.
