On this edition of CNY Heroes Dan’s guest is Jerry Reed who served with American Forces Radio and TV Service in 1969 during the height of the Vietnam War. He talks about his assignment to an airbase in Thailand, and later at Goodfellow Air Force base in San Angelo, Texas. Jerry also discusses his family’s long history of military service, his anticipation of flying on Honor Flight Mission 23 in September, and his civilian career in radio broadcasting and media relations.
