John is a Syracuse native who wrote the book “Draftee: Summoned to Serve, The Plight of a Vietnam Draftee in War and Beyond.” They discuss Wilson’s tour of duty in Vietnam and what led him to write the book. On this 50th anniversary of the all-volunteer Armed Forces, Wilson cautions the U.S. against ever returning to the draft.
