Our New Neighbors, Episode 17 – RISE: Refugee and Immigrant Self-Empowerment

RISE: Refugee and Immigrant Self-Empowerment, is a non-profit organization providing critical services to New Americans in our community. RISE offers assistance including transportation, interpretation, education, even a farm where immigrants can grow their own food to sell at market or serve to their families. This month’s guests on Our New Neighbors are Zeeshan James, RISE’s Director of Care Management, and Care Manager Hamadi Mukoma. Zeeshan and Hamadi share their personal stories with hosts Maryna Bagovska and Ibrahaim Mohamed, and talk about how RISE serves the community.
