WCNY appoints Peter S. Zalizniak director of business development and sales

Peter S. Zalizniak, of Bridgeport, has been named WCNY’s director of business development and sales. Zalizniak has more than a dozen years of experience growing sales for corporations and technology companies.
Prior to joining WCNY, Zalizniak was senior sales manager for EMS Technologies/Honeywell, where he secured more than $1 million in new business annually and grew existing accounts to record highs. He also held positions at Iridium Satellite and Stratos Mobile Networks in Bethesda, Md.
At WCNY, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team and work on strategic and tactical solutions to meet WNCY’s sales and underwriting goals.
Zalizniak earned an MBA from Norwich University and is a candidate for a Doctor of Business Administration from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies. He is a member of the Army Aviation Association of America and a U.S. Army Veteran.
