WCNY’s ‘Financial Fitness’ features going to college without going broke

“Financial Fitness” host Jim Burns and College Assistance Plus representatives John Decker and Paul Celuch discuss the college application process and how to strategically pay for an education at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, on WCNY channel 24.1.

College Assistance Plus provides students and their families with customized services to help plan and finance college educations.

Decker and Celuch will discuss the admissions process and provide viewers with the number one college admissions fact. Information about how colleges select admitted students, what the top schools are and pros and cons of accepting early decision offers will be explored.

The show will also present information about financial aid requirements including how packages are determined, why the government doesn’t provide more college funding, if college prices will decrease and how to ensure that parents and students are paying the correct amount of money.
