WCNY Receives Four Nominations at the 65th Annual New York Emmy Awards

WCNY, Central New York’s community-owned public broadcaster, received four New York Emmy Nominations at the 65th Annual New York Emmy Awards. The first nomination was in the category of topical programming for WCNY’s “SPD: Reckoning & Reform” series, which premiered Oct. 4, 2021. The second nomination was awarded to WCNY Producer, Chad Patterson, in the editing category for WCNY’s “SPD: Reckoning & Reform” series, sponsored by The Gifford Foundation and Pulitzer Center. The series follows Former Syracuse Chief of Police Kenton Buckner as he adapts to his new role as Chief of Police and looks at a city in need
