We know everyone has their favorite programs; shows that no matter what is going on in life you simply can not, and will not, miss. WCNY wants to give you, the viewer, the opportunity to support for your favorite shows.
 
Playing is simple. All you have to do is pick a team and spread the word. As a member of a team, you will have the ability to make a donation toward your favorite show, and/or ask others to support their favorite show(s) through your email contacts. Additionally, we encourage you to use your social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, etc….) to help make this a successful campaign.

Clifford Needs A New Doghouse!

Visit malls throughout Central New York this spring and help WCNY raise the funds needed to build its new Broadcast and Education Center in downtown Syracuse.

Children can meet Clifford the Big Red Dog and receive free Clifford-related stickers and activity sheets, and parents can learn more about WCNY’s new building and how they can help build it. For a small suggested donation, you can have your picture taken with Clifford!

Clifford and WCNY volunteers will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations in May and June:

May 5: The Shops at Ithaca Mall

May 19: Sangertown Square, New Hartford

June 2: Great Northern Mall, Clay

Location: Hochstein Performance Hall, Rochester, NY

Live at the Hochstein Performance Hall, Friday, June8th, critically acclaimed chef, television host, and author Lidia Bastianich comes to Rochester sharing stories of her childhood in Italy, her immigration to America, and ultimately, her new found love of Italian-American food and all that it stands for.  The audience will hear Lidia’s own story while she cooks up one of her favorite dishes, shows some of her favorite photos, and answers questions.

Tickets include a membership to your public media provider, WCNY, and helps us bring you quality programming like Lidia’s Italy in America.
