PBS Chef Pati Jinich in Syracuse for WCNY’s 8th Annual Taste of Fame!

WCNY, Central New York’s community-owned public broadcaster, is hosting its 8th annual Taste of Fame culinary fundraiser with Chef Pati Jinich, award-winning celebrity chef, author, and host of “Pati’s Mexican Table” and “La Frontera.” The event takes place at Drumlins Country Club (800 Nottingham Rd, Syracuse) on Friday, Sept. 9 from 6-9 p.m.

Guests will enjoy a three-course culinary dinner journey with recipes crafted by Pati, and stories to accompany each course. The best in Finger Lakes wine is also included. The event kicks off with cocktail hour and a silent auction at 6 p.m., with the three-course dinner following at 7 p.m.

The VIP ticket includes all the benefits of a dinner ticket, plus a VIP meet & greet/screening event at Drumlins Country Club, prior to the three-course dinner. Following the VIP event, guests are invited for cocktails at 6 p.m. in the ballroom, and the dinner experience begins at 7 p.m. in the grand ballroom. Chef Julia Collin Davison of “America’s Test Kitchen” will emcee the VIP meet & greet event, and the three-course dinner.
